Education: Northern Alberta Institute of Technology

Certification: Level 3 Fear Free Certified

Hometown: Abbotsford, BC

Pets: Pepper, Sam, Tango and Raven

Prab was born and raised in Abbotsford, British Columbia. Prab found a passion for veterinary medicine as she volunteered at her local veterinary clinic. She was inspired by the care and attention her own pets received by veterinary staff when they were in the hospital. This inspired her to pursue a career in animal health. She made the move to Edmonton in 2018 and completed the Animal Health Technology program with Honors in 2021 where she had the honor of being the recipient for the Canadian Animal Blood Bank award. After passing her board exams to become registered, she went on to work in an emergency hospital before starting at FVAH in November 2021. As is the hazard of working in a veterinary hospital, she recently fell in love with one of our adoption cats Raven, who is now the newest addition to her little family!

Prab is most interested in anesthesia, pain management and dentistry. She loves working in a fear free clinic and educating clients on their pets’ health care. Prab enjoys many hobbies, like tumbling rocks, reading and working out.
