How does laser therapy help in healing?

The therapeutic lasers emit light waves that cause photobiomodulation or alteration of cellular or tissue physiology. The laser stimulates electrons in cellular components, which activates the cells that can grow, migrate, proliferate, and repair. Once activated, such cellular functions help to repair the internal damage.
