Dr. Anita Selander has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 20 years, bringing a wealth of experience, compassion, and dedication to every patient she cares for. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003, after completing her Bachelor of Science in Biology with distinction in Victoria, British Columbia. Originally from Surrey, she is proud to serve pets and families in the Fraser Valley community.
Throughout her career in the Lower Mainland, Dr. Selander has developed a strong reputation as a skilled and confident surgeon. She has a special interest in reproduction, soft tissue surgery, and orthopedics. Her thoughtful, detail-oriented approach helps ensure the highest standard of care for both routine and more complex cases.
Dr. Selander is passionate about building lasting relationships with her clients and providing personalized care tailored to each pet’s needs. She values clear communication and strives to support pet owners in making informed decisions about their animals’ health.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Selander enjoys an active lifestyle, including trail running and spending quality time with her son exploring the Fraser Valley.
