During the most difficult time of his life, my Golden, Rocket, was treated with exceptional compassion and care by Dr. Horvat and the Staff at Fraser Valley Animal Hospital.

Rocket was diagnosed with cancer, and in just a few short weeks he was gone. During those weeks, I received DAILY telephone calls from the Hospital to check on Rocket’s condition (no charge!) and I was encouraged to call with any concerns, or even if I just needed to talk.

Dr. Horvat was very honest and clear about what our expectations could be and Rocket and I spent a lot of time fulfilling his bucket list. When the time came, we were treated with respect and great kindness, they made the unbearable bearable. I have complete confidence in the Doctors and the friendly and supportive Staff at Fraser Valley Animal Hospital and happily recommend their office to friends and family.

We found Fraser Valley Animal Hospital quite by serendipity, about a week after we moved to Abbotsford in mid-July, 2016. The following month, we took our then 15-year old cat Spooky there for a full exam and blood panel. Shortly thereafter, we found that he had stage-three kidney disease. Since then, we have been giving him medications and subcutaneous fluids, and, from time to time, taking him in to “visit”. We have also twice boarded him with FVAH. With a couple of exceptions, we have dealt with Dr. Sharon Bruce, who first saw and diagnosed Spooky. However, all the veterinarians, technicians, and staff continue to impress us. They have shown great competence and a clear dedication to the animals they care for; as well, they have shown real compassion for both Spooky and us. They have been unfailingly pleasant, friendly, helpful, and kind, thus continuing to inspire confidence in their “two-legged” clients. We would recommend FVAH without reservation to any pet owner.
