Nicoles’ passion with animals started young. At 13 years of age, she started volunteering at West Vancouver SPCA. This led to a love of working with reactive shy dogs. Helping them come out of their shells, and seeing them bloom into happy balanced pups is what provides joy to her. She has also worked as a groomer. Fostering dogs in her home has provided hands on experience with many large breeds, some which have had extra medical needs. Her desire to learn more led her to enroll in a Veterinary Assistants course. Nicole joined the FVAH team in 2020.
