Jayden Smith

Veterinary Assistant

Education: On the job training

Hometown: Abbotsford, BC

Pets: Kona and Red

Jayden started at FVAH in 2020 as an assistant, after a year of volunteering in veterinary medicine and a wildlife rehabilitation center. She has also both grown up and gained work experience with horses. Now, she guides clients through the weight loss journeys of their beloved pets through the Slim Pet Program and is working towards her nutritional advisor certificate, and her Bachelor’s Degree in science and environmental studies. She loves cats and has a soft spot for senior cats, but she loves her band of doofuses, Red the cat and Kona the golden doodle that wait for her at home. Jayden plans to become an RVT and knock working with marine wildlife off of her bucket list.

When she isn’t at the clinic, Jayden spends her time crafting beaded jewelry, acting in local Fraser Valley theaters, or exploring new parks and trails with her eager 4-year-old doodle.
