The Fraser Valley Animal Hospital has been serving the communities of the valley, including Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Langley and Mission for over 25 years.
We have always believed that it has been our privilege that families trust us to help them with their four legged family members. We are well aware that not all dogs and cats are lucky enough to have great homes and so we try to help the animals of our community.
We accept pet food donations on behalf of the Abbotsford Food Bank, these donation make a huge difference in our community!
At the hospital we have been involved helping to fund raise for the SPCA and other local shelters through Cupcake Days, where all donations for the cupcakes go to the SPCA or local shelters. Every three months we donate to a different shelter as there are many great shelters out there trying to help. We also have regular Pedicures for Paws! This is when we donate all money for the nail trims done that day to a local shelter. Some of the shelters we support include the SPCA and a cat rescue from Merritt. Cats are still known as the number one throw away pets so we are actively helping to help match cats with the right family. Check out our adoption page.
Dr. Horvat also knows how important it is that those who can no longer own pets but still love pets have contact with animals. For this reason Dr. Horvat and Winston volunteer with Pets and Friends and go to visit local hospitals and nursing homes. Winston is quite proud to have his own id card!
Brutus helps out too! He, along with the staff and friends of the Fraser Valley Animal Hospital, like to go on the walks to support the animals of their community. Check out the pictures from the Paws for a Cause walk!
